Ever wondered how some people manage to keep fit through out, not gaining nor losing, are shapely, posses all the physical desires you want but can’t get! At least not that easily. Do you ever get urged to ask? but are afraid they won’t be genuine with their response, shy, or you think they are just born like that! Truth is there is always something they are doing that you are not.

Coincidentally, I fall in the list. You may or may not know me in person but am that type who’s always on point when it comes to physical appearance and health. I even wonder why I have the Jubilee Medical Insurance, I never get sick! Thanks to God. Am not exaggerated neither am I small. Ha! I know now you are like, post a photo here! but worry not I will soon. Occasionally I get questions from friends who admire my physic on how I keep it there. It’s not a boast nor pride for that matter it’s the truth bu..t I can do with a bit of self appreciation.

I do spices

Starting off My 5 weight loss secrets ,Spice your food, I always spice my meals. Normally, I prefer homemade meals and cook them myself so with this I am always in a position to add spices in almost all the meals. Spices suppress one appetite hence prevent you from overeating.
Hot pepper is known to have great benefits in general health like help in burning off excess fat. Chili contains capsaicin- is the substance in chili that makes it produce the sensation of burning- which helps in boosting metabolism, hinders fat cells from developing to maturity, reduces the building up of cholesterol in blood. Medically studies show that pepper intake in our blood helps in reducing chances of arthritis, stroke and breast cancer for women. All this benefits apply for both hot and smooth chilies but remember the hotter the chili the better.

I eat protein breakfast every day

We are all advised to eat breakfast. This is because after night sleep, our bodies are on low energy and needs boost. Hence this brings forth the question, what is healthy breakfast? I think protein based breakfast is the way – proteins are our body’s building blocks. They build body tissues, blood, bones, skin. It’s not magic that your hair, nails grows back after you cut them, its protein in your body that rebuilds them. Also when dead skin sheds off and it’s replaced, that’s protein job. I always think God must have been really clever. My 5 weight loss secrets  just started off Hmm! really clever!
With a Protein based breakfast that a sure healthy meal, I go for eggs , It is known that eggs contains lots of fat but that’s not the case with the recent studies which show that the fat in eggs is saturated and can actually help in reducing cholesterol. Eggs contain choline which reduces inflammation in those with heart disease, maintains a healthy active brain, and the nervous system. So I guess this is good huh! And for those who are not convinced you may just eat the whites- white part of the egg.
I do get bored with eggs sometimes and use alternatives like soya, nuts or even sausages.
Generally, a protein meal early in the morning keeps you energized and full for longer reducing chances of overeating throughout the day.

Mushroom

Yes mushroom, I swap mushroom with meat. I know Kenyans love meat, but sorry guys you want to look and feel good you have to change some things. Mushrooms does it for me, at first it was hard to contain it even on my tongue but I have discovered very great recipes that help me in preparing it to a great meal. They contain much less amount of protein as compared to meat hence lower calories uptake. I have said above proteins are good and important for health but take note of amount as it matters. Too much of it leads to general body growth and sure enough you do not want that!

Fruits & Vegetables

I have taught myself to take these. On my way from work, or just around the mtaa streets I always have to get myself a fruit preferably watermelons and apples –my favorite though all fruits are good. I love the crunch in these two. Fruits are easily and readily available almost everywhere so instead of getting biscuits get a fruit as a snack. I take it on me to ensure that in all the meals I make, veges make quite a potion these includes cabbages, carrots, spinach.
Fruits and vegetables  has played a mjor role in My 5 weight loss secrets more so they contain low calories naturally, contain mineral and vitamins that keep one’s body energized, contain fiber that fill you up and also provides a reduced risk of hypertension and heart diseases.

Exercise

I am not yet blessed with owning my own Mercedes but I have my fingers crossed that it’s on its way ,until then I find myself doing lots of walks like going to the bus station or generally moving from one point to another . I do not find it so hard though I still want my Mercedes, the walks help a lot in keeping me fit.

Other exercises’ that one can do are;
Cardio– this exercise raises the heart rate as it entails moving literally the whole body like running, jogging, swimming which burns calories fast.
Lift weights –while at the gym or in your own home lift weights and do warm ups but do not lift much weight as you may gain muscles while losing fat.
And do not forget to have sleep to keep you sober the next day. Oh it’s actually a hobby for me these days.
